Thanks to the self-balancing design, this new braking system proposed by Campagnolo features a completely symmetrical and efficient brake actuation.

Additionally, thanks to the extremely rigid structure, the new Campagnolo Direct Mount ensures superior braking power, while the design elements inspired by the aerodynamic brake design are enhanced by the new closed structure of the brake levers themselves.

Besides pure performance, great attention has also been paid to ease of use and adjustment. The goal was to ensure that the Campagnolo brake was easier to install as well as intuitive and simple to adjust compared to any other available model; this was made possible by the rigid structure positioned at the rear of the brake itself, allowing quick mounting without the addition of external arch supports even on the slimmest stays.
