The Scorpion™ E-MTB R tread is developed for use on the same terrains as the Scorpion™ E-MTB M, with medium height and spacing knobs and a wide range of use. The specific design of the central knobs, derived from Pirelli's motocross experience, increases grip and stability both in braking and traction, giving Scorpion™ E-MTB R unique dynamic and reliability characteristics. Scorpion™ E-MTB R creates a perfect combo when paired with Scorpion™ E-MTB M on the inside. SmartGrip +:

We added lignin to our specific E-MTB compound called Smartgrip +. Lignin is a natural additive that improves rubber properties, resulting in better tear resistance and increased durability, even under the greater stress that E-MTBs typically endure with high-performance electric motors.

Hyperwall:
A newly designed patented construction that further enhances the maneuverability and durability of the flat tread. Essential for off-road use, especially in more demanding disciplines like downhill and E-MTB, the integrity of the ball area and sidewall stability are fundamental pillars of overall tire performance.
