We celebrate the lunar calendar of 'THE YEAR OF THE TIGER' symbolising power, courage and confidence. It was established in 1890 and is the site of some of Valley's earliest vines as well as its first winery.

This wine has been handcrafted in small open fermenters and basket pressed before 15 months of maturation in French and American oak barrels. By combining both traditional and modern winemaking techniques, wines of complexity, depth and intensity are produced.

Tasting Notes

Elevated aromas of blackberry, plum and black pepper, accompanied by spicy, dark berry fruits on the palate.

Serving Notes:

Pairs well with charcuterie, duck and beef dishes.

Although drinks well now, this wine may be cellared for up to ten years from vintage.
