This is the debut album of the Ishida Gumi, a string ensemble formed in 2014 at the urging of violinist Yasunao Ishida." The members of the orchestra, all of whom are men, are at the forefront of the field and are trusted by the "Ishida-gumi. The diverse repertoire ranges from baroque to film music to progressive rock, and the passionate performances that combine their individual styles open up a new world for string ensembles. The debut recording focuses on rock repertoire, which is where the Ishida group's uniqueness is most evident.
