Miho Hazama, the only Japanese jazz composer to be selected by Downbeat magazine as one of the "25 People Who Will Lead the Future of Jazz", performed with a famous Dutch orchestra for the first time in a live album! The live performance was recorded at the 100th anniversary of Thelonious Monk's birth on October 12, 2017 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, where she performed with the prestigious Metropole Orchestra of the Netherlands. The album will feature 7 Thelonious Monk songs that he performed at that show, boldly arranged by Hasama himself, and will be a superb large ensemble jazz album.
