A more supple version of Scarpa's award-winning Instinct VS, the Instinct VSR features Vibram Grip2 rubber which provides more grip and sensitivity while still providing the same form-fitting, sock-style fit that excels across the spectrum of hard climbing. Perfect for climbers that want all the features and benefits of the now classic Instinct VS, but with stickier rubber.

A Bi-Tension system reaches down both sides of the Instinct, giving priority to sensitivity and support while leaving the center pad for sensitivity. An integrated toe cap allows for powerful and precise toe hooking and a 2/3-length midsole and outsole provide solid support when standing on your toes on technical terrain. 

The Instinct VSR is built for modern, over-hung, super-technical terrain where friction is a must and a fit catering to sensitivity makes the difference between mantling that highball top-out or rocketing to the pads and spotters below.
