PYRAMAZE, the multinational progressive metal band whose last album "Epitaph" was highly acclaimed not only by progressive metal fans but also by specialized magazines, has completed its seventh album "Bloodlines". The band's history dates back to 2002. Guitarist Michael Kemeier's call brought together Morten Goede Sørensen (Ds / Wuthering Heights), Niels Kvist (B), Jonah Weingarten (Keys), and Lance King (Vo / ex-Balance of Power), The band debuted in 2004 with the album "Melancholy Beast". The band attracted attention as a promising new star in the progressive metal world. After a few member changes, "Legend of the Bone Carver" (2006) and "Immortal" (2008) were released consistently. After a smooth-sailing career, founding members Michael and Niels suddenly left the band in 2011. The remaining members considered their options and decided to continue with the band.After a hiatus of several years, the new member of the band is Jakob Hansen, who is not only a musician but also a renowned engineer/producer. The band has made great strides in terms of composition and production, which can be seen in the albums "Disciples of the Sun" (2015), "Contingent" (2017), and "Epitaph" (2020). Two singles from the new album, "Broken Arrow" and "Fortress," have already been released prior to its release. Both are technical yet dramatic songs with memorable melodious and catchy choruses, and we can expect that this new album will be as high quality as the previous one.
