This vase is strictly decorative, it cannot hold food or water, and isn't dishwasher safe. It was handmade on the wheel and then raku-fired, which gives it a unique glaze and crackle pattern.

This vase is a story of chemistry: the glaze, when in contact with oxygen, turns this bluish green colour. When oxygen is stripped, it turns a bronzy red colour.

This piece has a massive, very visible crack at the bottom, but since it's a decorative piece, it doesn't negate any water-tight feature.
