Performance Engineered Subaru BRZ ZD8 On-Road Racing Kit

This Tamiya kit skillfully replicates the Subaru BRZ in a 1/10 scale model. Introduced in April 2021, the ZD8 is a nimble, rear-wheel-drive sports car with a wide stance, low center of gravity, and aerodynamic features inspired by motorsports. The full scale car is propelled by a potent 2.4-liter horizontally opposed four-cylinder DOHC boxer engine, generating 235 horsepower.

Clear Body

The Clear untrimmed 2021 BRZ body features a sleek and sporty design, embodying the essence of a rear-wheel-drive sports car. Performance Chassis

The TT-02 chassis, with its adaptable and balanced shaft-driven 4WD system, ensures excellent stability through a longitudinal layout featuring the battery on the left and the motor on the right. Its design incorporates identical left and right suspension arms and uprights for straightforward assembly, along with easily maintainable gearboxes. The chassis offers versatility with two wheelbases, two ground clearance settings, two tread setups, and a selection of ten gear ratios. This chassis Kit includes both a torque tuned brushed motor and Hobbywing 1060 ESC. these components combine to deliver a performance enhanced on-road racing experience. Connector Information

When upgrading to a high current LiPo battery, it is recommended to also upgrade your battery connector. We recommend using an XT60 or T-Style connector for this application. Please check out the video below to learn how to solder on a T-Style connector.
