Description:
This is the third in a series of original album reissue projects following "Magic Colors are the Colors of Love" and "Girl Talk," edited by Leslie Gore's British Ace Records, who passed away in February 2015. This album, released in 1967, contains the hit singles "California Night of the Stars," "I Want to Be a Lady," "May Be Now," and "I'm Going Out," seven of the ten songs were recorded in New York and produced by Bob Crewe, and the remaining three were arranged by Jack Nitsche in LA. It is no exaggeration to say that this is one of the best American pop albums of the time. (C)RS
