Fitting Instructions: Note" Before occupational use of this respirator a written respiratory protection program must be implemented meeting all the local government requirements. In the United States employers must comply with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134 which includes medical evaluation, training and fit testing. For Use: 1. Hold respirator in hand with nosepiece at your fingertips, allowing headbands to hang freely below your hand. 2. Press respirator firmly against your face with nosepiece on the bridge of your nose. 3. Stretch and position top band high on the back of your head. Stretch bottom band over head and position it below your ears. 4. Using both hand, mold metal nosepiece to the shape of your nose. 5. To test fit, cup both hands over front of the respirator, exhaling vigorously. If air flows around your nose, tighten the nosepiece. If air leaks around the mask edges, reposition straps for a better fit. 6. Remember, careful observance of these fitting instructions is an important step in safe respirator use.
