Description:
[Classical Department Store "Here's What Everyone Loves" No.1 Instrumental Music] Here's What Everyone Loves When it comes to classical music, we start with these 100 pieces and 100 titles! The world's oldest classical label, Deutsche Grammophon, which boasts a history of over 120 years, and Decca (including the former Philips), which celebrates its 90th anniversary in 2019 and is home to conductor Seiji Ozawa, pianist Mitsuko Uchida and other masters of their craft. The series of evergreen masterpieces from both Decca and Philips labels will be released! We conducted a survey of about 25,000 people in the classical music industry and members of our newsletter. The campaign will release 20 titles in each genre every two weeks, for a total of 100 titles. The "Four Ballades," a masterpiece from Chopin's heyday, is a perfect fusion of sincere passion and advanced musicality, and the "Four Scherzos," a masterpiece in which Chopin freely incorporated his ideas into the scherzo form, which had been used since Beethoven's time. Polini's clear and supple playing, with a polished sound achieved by perfect percussion, infuses both fascinating works with a new life. The complete "Ballade" won the 37th Record Academy Award for Instrumental Music in 1999. [Performed by Maurizio Pollini (piano) Recorded: September 1990 (5-8), April 1999 (1-4) in Munich ●SHM-CD specification ●Green color label coated ●Commentary included ●Booklet
