18th century Italian gilded fragment arrows with an amethyst heart and mounted on a clear lucite base. An arrow through the heart symbolizing being deeply in love or being "struck by sudden passion" which is rooted in the myth of Cupid. It signifies a deep emotional, often romantic, connection and vulnerability. Amethyst is also the birthstone of February.
