Description:
Uncovering the treasured recordings left behind by a miraculous voice! Unreleased recordings made by Jeff Buckley before his debut album "Grace," the only original album he released before his death in 1994. The previously unreleased material that he recorded in the studio for the first time after signing a contract with Columbia Records/Sony Music in the U.S. has finally been unearthed. The title is "You and I". Many of the 10 songs on this album were recorded in February 1993, and although their existence had been rumored for many years, they had never actually been heard outside the studio. They were discovered by chance when the staff conducted a renewed search of past recordings on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the release of their debut album, "Grace" (1994). What remained on the master tapes were eight covers of songs he admired (Bob Dylan, Sly & The Family Stone, The Smiths, Led Zeppelin, etc.) and two of his own originals (the first recording of his debut song "Grace" and an unreleased song). The song is a studio live performance by the artist alone, and it is bizarrely raw, expressing the freedom, purity, and delicacy of his heart in the most "god-like" way. His natural talent as an expressive artist, which is evident only in his solo performances, is conveyed in a frighteningly realistic way. This is the "holy grail" of his music for his fans, and after more than 20 years, it finally sees the light of day.
