Tallow is a healthy fat that is rich in vitamins A, D, E, and K, as well as conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) and omega-3 fatty acids. Tallow absorbs into the skin's layers, similar to sebum, the skin's natural oils. It can prevent dryness and maintain a breathable surface and form a protective barrier on the skin that helps lock in moisture and protect it from environmental damage. This can help prevent fine lines and wrinkles. Tallow can reduce inflammation by blocking enzymes that disrupt the skin which makes it amazing for all skin types, including those with sensitive skin and eczema.
