The HRC10-8 Horizontal Windlass by Maxwell is an automatic rope/chain anchor winch, ideal for boats up to 45 feet. Designed to work effortlessly with both rope/chain combinations and all-chain rodes, the HRC10-8 features Maxwell’s unique Wave Design™ chainwheel, allowing it to manage any 5/16" chain spliced to a 5/8" rope. With its above-deck design, this windlass encapsulates motor and drive components in a two-part watertight anodized aluminum case, simplifying installation and maintenance.

Equipped with a stainless steel pressure arm and an efficient cone clutch mechanism, the HRC10-8 provides excellent rode control and the convenience of a manual "free fall" option. The sealed oil bath gearbox, crafted from marine-grade alloy, offers high-performance output, while the unit's wrap-around chainwheel enhances handling, ensuring superior security and durability.
