We now stock an aftermarket replacement slave cylinder/throw out bearing assemblies for the 08-09 Caliber SRT4.

Anytime you remove the transmission, it is recommended that you replace your slave cylinder/throw out bearing assembly at the same time to extend any potential services that may occur. The slave cylinder/TOB assembly can only be replaced by removing the transmission. This assembly will work with the OEM clutch and all aftermarket clutches.

Please note: Its important during installation that you never push down on the clutch pedal if the slave cylinder/bearing is not installed in the transmission and the transmission is not bolted to the engine. The reason for this is that if the clutch pedal is pushed down and the slave cylinder/transmission are not bolted to the engine, the slave cylinder bearing will pop out of the slave cylinder housing and will be forever damaged. Therefore, please do not push on the pedal or try to bleed the slave if the slave cylinder and transmission are not bolted back up to the engine.

Bleeding process taken from the Caliber forums:

• Take the dust cap off the slave cylinder
• Push the pedal to the floor
• Place tube on dust cap and place brake fluid in tube and hold finger on tube
• Raise foot from clutch
• let go of finger on dust cap
• Repeat 15-20 times
