We have seen some catastrophic OEM tone wheel failures in high horsepower (500+HP) 2.4 turbo engines. The oem cast tone wheels explode into lots of tiny pieces and cause lots of damage.

So, in addition to us custom making ARP replacement bolts for the tone wheel (sold separately), we are now offering a billet steel replacement tone wheel. Coupled together, our billet tone wheel and ARP replacement bolts make a super solid combination.

Another benefit of our lightweight billet tone wheel is that it closely matches the OEM cast tone wheel weight to not affect balance. The OEM cast tone wheel weighs in at 409 grams. A solid tone wheel weighs 434 grams, and we did further weight reduction to better match the OEM tone wheel weight and came in at 401 grams.
