This is the debut album by Cosmic Vibrations, an improvisation group led since 2017 by Dwight Tribble, a leading West Coast spiritual jazz singer who has played on albums by Pharaoh Sanders, Kamasi Washington, and others. He has also performed with various other legendary musicians, including participation in the Pharaoh Sanders Quartet. In recent years, he participated in Kamasi Washington's "The Epic" (2015) and "Heaven And Earth" (2018), which made headlines. Then in 2017, Dwight invited Darph LeClau (perc, fl), Pablo Calogero (sax), John B. Williams (ba), Christopher Garcia (perc), and Breeze Smith (drums) to join him in this improv jazz group, Cosmic Vibrations was formed.
