The Investigative Science kit includes a range of thermometers that can be used to carry out experiments and temperature-related activities. The thermometers include spirit-filled, bi-metal strip and LCD instruments which can be used to demonstrate the different ways in which thermometers work.

The minimum maximum thermometer included in the kit is particuarly useful for children engaged in weather studies.

Teaching notes including photocopiable work sheets are included in the kit.
