How it works

The device provides rapid protection with CO detection times depending on concentration: typically 60–90 minutes at 50 ppm, 10–40 minutes at 100 ppm, and as quick as 3 minutes at 300 ppm. In normal operation, the green LED flashes every 30 seconds. When a CO reading is required, the LED flashes briefly; during an alarm the red LED pulses and the audible alert sounds in a repeating cycle—four short beeps, five seconds of silence, then four more beeps—until the CO is eliminated or the unit is reset.

For reliable performance, regularly test the unit using the built-in test/reset button and replace batteries as needed.
