Lapidary cut, multi-layered Motor Agate (Fordite) cabochon set in sterling silver. The salvaged and repurposed material set in this piece began as a hunk of cured auto paint overspray that was harvested from a major auto plant many years ago.

This piece has a beautiful and rare, vintage Type 3 Motor Agate cabochon: Color on color layers with metallics. Color tones of this piece are vibrant, with pops of lime green, yellow, white, black and red. Cool 70's vibe!

This lovely flat topped cab is set in a scalloped edge, hand fabricated and tooled sterling silver setting. Hand Signed, Open bezel back.
