"Innocents" was inspired by watching my daughter grow and finding myself reflecting on my own journey into adulthood. As I painted, I thought about the quiet moments that shape us: the curiosity we try to balance, the fears we name, the mistakes that gently push us forward and the small acts of courage we often overlook. This piece reminds me that we do not need to arrive perfect. It is the practice, patience and kindness we offer ourselves that help us grow softer, stronger and more whole.
