Tempasept Thermometer Covers 

The Tempasept thermometer covers by Medimex ensure optional protection against infection when taking temperatures in doctors' surgeries, hospitals and care homes. Each thermometer cover is composed of an internal and an external protective cover, thus ensuring a high degree of hygiene. The internal cover surrounds the thermometer during the measurement and prevents direct contact between the thermometer and the patient's skin. After the measurement, the thermometer, still in the internal protective cover, is replaced in the external protective cover; the thermometer can then be carefully removed from both covers. This means that the internal protective cover, contaminated by the measurement, is securely contained within the external protective cover and infection transmissions can be effectively protected.

Tempasept thermometer covers are optionally available for either analogue or digital thermometers, and with an application of lubricant on the internal thermometer protective cover for rectal measurement.
