For sale here is a very scarce hollow-built rectangular quadrate rod made by Danny Heus of The Netherlands. Mr. Heus is/was a disciple of the revolutionary designs of Mike Montagne. This rod is very well executed. 7'6" with two sections and two tips for a five weight line. The rod weighs 4 1/8 oz. Fast action. The rod is in excellent++ condition having been fished very sparingly. Like Montagne's rods, by design they were not concerned with totally straight rod sections, so don't expect that on this one either. This does not however affect the casting abilities of the rod. Agate stripping guide. Unique guide wrapping scheme -- clear silks with green edges with the exception of the middle two guides on the tips being wrapped with green silks and black edges. Up-locking reel seat similar to Montagne. Custom-made duronze ferrules that are expertly over-wrapped. Custom-made wire tiptops, and hook keeper. Comes with original bag and tube.
