The Carmex Carbide Tiny Tool is a solid carbide bar engineered specifically for face grooving, delivering clean, straight grooves with a built‑in chip breaker for predictable surface finishes. As part of the Tiny Tools family (MFR-C), it offers two coating grades to cover a range of materials and speeds: BXC TiN-coated for low-speed stainless steel work (ISO P30–P50 / K25–K40), and BMK sub-micron grade with triple PVD coating for high-heat, all-material performance (ISO K10–K20). With an 8 mm minimum diameter and a 2 mm groove width, it fits standard face‑grooving setups.
