Thrown on a slow turning kick wheel, this iron-rich stoneware beaker is finished with a bisque slipped exterior and Cornish Stone and dolomite glazed interior. Fired in Tim Lake’s gas and wood kiln in Wales, the surface carries the subtle atmospheric effects of flame and ash, with each piece bearing the distinctive markings of its individual firing.
