For sale here is a beautiful Gary Howells bamboo rod - 8 feet for a 5 weight line, labeled 3 7/8 oz. Actual weight 4.10 oz. Size 14/64 ferrules. Serial #4134. The rod is in excellent+ original condition showing only very minimal signs of use. All sections are straight. Honey toned cane with chestnut wraps and gold tipping. One band of burgundy at the winding check. Carbide stripping guide. Very slightly swelled butt. Ring hook-keeper. Full wells grip, uplocking aluminum reel seat with gorgeous zebrawood spacer. There is a very faint pink tint around the nose of the grip from the red rod bag. The ferrule fit is nice and tight. Lovely medium-fast action; quite versatile. Original bag and labeled tube.
