Ingredients

• Active Ingredient: Fusidic acid 1% (10 mg/g)
• Excipients: Disodium phosphate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate, polysorbate 80, carbomer, and purified water

Uses / Indications

• Fucithalmic® is indicated for:
• Treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis (especially caused by Staphylococcus aureus)
• Management of superficial ocular infections responsive to fusidic acid
• Veterinary use under prescription for canine and feline eye infections

Feeding Instructions / Dosage

• Administer one drop into the affected eye twice daily
• Use under veterinary supervision only
  

Possible Side Effects

• Mild transient stinging or burning sensation
• Blurred vision immediately after application
• Rare allergic reactions (e.g. swelling, itching, redness)
• Hypersensitivity to fusidic acid or any excipients

Drug & Food Interactions

• No known food interactions
• Should not be used concurrently with other topical ophthalmic antibiotics unless advised by a healthcare professional
• Avoid use with contact lenses during treatment

Precautions

• For external ophthalmic use only
• Do not touch the dropper tip to any surface to avoid contamination
