This venerable Ode has their acclaimed aluminum cast pot paired with top quality workmanship from renowned builder Chuck Ogsbury who ran Ode Banjos for many years. First invented by Pete Seeger in the 1950's, Ome made many of these long-necked instruments during the folk boom of the '60s and '70's. This banjo features an "archtop" style tone ring, 24 brackets, Mahogany three-piece neck, Rosewood fingerboard and planetary tuners. It remains in very good playing condition with a straight neck, comfortable action and sweet tone and has just a few honest marks here and there from age and use. Comes with and older case that is taped up at the edges but remains usable.
