How It Works:

Using the MALCO CR18 is simple:

1. Open the handles and insert the rivet into the tool until the flange touches the nosepiece.
2. Squeeze the handles slightly to allow the jaws to grip the rivet mandrel.
3. Insert the rivet into the pre-drilled workpiece to be fastened.
4. Squeeze the handles firmly until the mandrel snaps.
5. Release the grip, and the mandrel will drop out from the front end of the tool when tilted.

Note:

This riveter is not suitable for use with 5/32″ or 3/16″ steel rivets (steel rivets larger than 3.2 mm).
