Details: This 18k ring features a really exceptionally clear oval dendritic agate. The background of the agate is a bright and pearly white - while the veined traces are charcoal in color creating a stunning contrast. Nature's paintbrush has created a masterpiece in this stone.

A dendritic agate, often called a picture agate, is a semi-precious chalcedony veined with trace metals or iron ore. The agates form in nodules left behind in ancient volcanic lava rocks and the heat and the pressure over thousands of years causes the formation of beautiful natural-looking tree or snowflake-like patterns in the stone.

Measurements: The ring size is 7. The stone is just over 1" tall by 5/8" wide.
