This elegant Regency-inspired silk fabric design is based on an original French cotton dress dated 1805–1810 from the Empire and Regency period. The pattern features delicate golden botanical motifs and small dotted details arranged across a deep black ground, creating a refined and dramatic early 19th-century appearance.

The design is printed on smooth and shiny 100% Silk Chiffon, giving the fabric an exceptionally soft drape and luminous surface ideal for historical evening wear. When layered over a lighter underdress or lining, the semi-transparent black silk chiffon creates beautiful depth and movement, especially suitable for elegant Regency ball gowns and flowing Empire silhouettes.
