The gear box on the J-8203K is what separates this saw from a standard wood bandsaw. It allows the machine to be used across metal, wood, non-ferrous metal, and plastic cutting applications. That range makes it a practical choice for shops that deal with more than one material type without wanting to maintain separate machines for each one.

Variable Speed Drive Matches Blade Speed to Material

The variable speed drive system lets you dial in the right blade speed for the material you are cutting. Running wood requires different surface feet per minute than cutting metal or plastic. With the variable speed control, you are not locked into a single fixed speed, so you can work through different materials without guessing or forcing the cut.

Adjustable Table Handles Angled and Straight Cuts

The cast iron table tilts up to 45 degrees to the right and 15 degrees to the left, giving you a controlled setup for angled cuts. At 14 x 14 inches, it provides solid support for the stock you are working with. A conveniently located on/off switch keeps controls within reach during the cut.
