Beer & Bread is a multifunctional card game for two players. The clever structure of alternating rounds puts a fascinating twist on player interaction, card drafting and resource management.

Founded on the fertile land of a former monastery, two villages have maintained the twin traditions of beer brewing and bread baking. While they share fields and resources, they still pride themselves on their friendly rivalry to outdo each other's products.

Each of you represents one of these villages. Over the course of six years - which are alternately fertile and dry - you must harmonize your tasks: harvesting and storing raw materials, producing beer and bread, selling them for coins and upgrading your facilities.

To win, however, you must maintain the balance between your baked and liquid goods. Because after the sixth year you only score the collected coins for the type of good - beer or bread - for which you earned less. The village with the highest score wins.
