What to Expect

Skill Level: Perfect for kids who have already taken our Sewciety Kids classes and are ready to jump in to learn some new skills this summer.
The Project: Every student will work on the same zipper pouch project, allowing the whole group to learn, stitch, and celebrate together.
The Skills: You will learn how to properly measure and cut fabric, and install your very first zipper.

Class Details

Instructor: Nancy Wiswall (Decades of teaching and sewing experience)
Materials: All materials are completely provided!
Prerequisite: Students who have attended the Sewciety Kids Beginner Workshop are eligible for this class. Do you have a student who is interested but hasn't taken the Beginner Workshop? Let us know! We will try to schedule one before the class! This Beginner Workshop is a 2-hour $55 class in which students learn about sewing safety, the Cottonwood classroom and the Cottonwood sewing machines. A small project will be completed during this workshop.
