I just couldn't resist this giant faux eraser paperweight, which I found in a bin at a flea market; it's really a pretty great object! Its prior owner seems to have added an extra underline under BIG and a couple of extra exclamation points at the end--and also to have banged it around some and sliced it a few times with a blade, which makes me like it all the more. I am not totally sure what it is made of; it does not function as an eraser, but the surface has a bit of gummy-ness; I'd guess it's ceramic or some hard composite covered in a thin layer of rubber--plenty heavy to make a useful paperweight.
