This DK yarn is a 4-ply yarn of extra fine Merino with a high-twist that results in crisp stitch definition. It is custom-milled to combine the best quality of the raw fiber with a high twist and superwash finish. This base has a great hand-feel and a low tendency to pill. You could work this DK yarn on a range of needle and hook sizes and still get a cozy fabric or work it with a Mohair for extra squishiness! This yarn is great for cables and colorwork, layered pieces and outerwear, a quick baby garment.

All yarns labeled "Superwash" are machine washable on the gentle cycle with cool water, and lay flat to dry. But it is always recommended that you hand wash your finished pieces to extend their life and beauty. There may be some slight color wash-out for your yarns first wash, this is normal with any saturated colors. If you have combined colors that may bleed into each other, be sure to use a cold soak and a Shout Color Catcher sheet if needed, they work great!
