The legendary Chronomat, now evolved for the modern globetrotter

The Chronomat holds a significant place in Breitling’s history. Introduced in 1984, at a time where extra-thin quartz timepieces were the order of the day, Breitling placed a bold bet on an impressively proportioned mechanical watch, styled with panache and tailored for brave airmen and women. The bet paid off, and the Chronomat helped restore Breitling's rightful place as the maker of choice for those who tamed the sky. 

This new evolution of the legendary Chronomat marks the icon's next evolution. Powered by a special GMT movement and presented in stainless steel, the Chronomat GMT is built around a new 40mm case reinforced with uniquely shaped crown guards, and featuring Breitling's classic bezel with the four rider tabs and the brand's newly engineered 'Rouleaux', or bullet bracelet — a much-loved badge of the high-flying Chronomat, now tailored for the modern globetrotter.
