My journey across the East Coast states of Pahang, Kelantan and Terengganu was pleasantly suprising. Their melting pot of local food, festivals and religious beliefs are what makes Malaysia so rich and diverse.

What do you think of when hearing East Coast being mentioned? Do you conjure up images of tropical islands with turtles, sun and sand? Or recall their traditional batik, wayang kulit and wau? Or do you hear the rumble of Jalan Persekutuan 3 (Federal Route 3) and smell their scrumptious delicacies?

Upon publishing my first book, I toured the country and held exhibitions to share my journey. I even went as far as to some primary schools in Taiwan. Part of my books have since been used during lessons in those classes. I am honoured that they do so. My deep desire is for more people to come to know this Malaysia that I love. I endevoured to include as many interesting details of my journey across the East Coast as I could. It is my sincere hope that you would be able to experience the journey with me through the pages that I follow.
