Cohen Violins is delighted to present this fine contemporary Cremonese violin crafted by Georgi Nikolov in 2022. Featuring well aged tone woods that were carefully chosen in collaboration when the violin was commissioned and a traditional orange Cremonese varnish of exemplary luminosity, with black chamfering to the scroll, rib mitres, and button; demonstrating a voice that is at once clear and powerful, with a colorful, buttery quality, ample flexibility, and an immediacy to the response that makes it absolutely delightful to play. This violin is offered with both a certificate booklet from the maker and a photocopy of the certificate from the XIII Concorso Internazionale Di Lutheria Anlai Di Pisogne Per Strumenti Ad Arco, the competition it placed 4th overall in.
