Līmus Bibliothecae is Latin for Slime of the Library
In celebration of the two year anniversary of The Library of Slime, I let the slime muses guide my hand in making this slime. I didn't write down my recipe for this slime, so apologies for the vagueness of the following description.
Scent |
Texture |
| Essential oil blend that is bright, grassy, citrusy |
Loose and soft white glue slime with crunchy topper |
Notes on Scent
I love lemongrass essential oil, so that is the predominant scent in this blend. There is also some Balsam of Peru which is surprisingly sweet and vanilla adjacent, and I think some fossilized amber. The entire blend is bright and energetic, but also sweet and comforting.
Notes on Texture
This is a loose white glue texture, with a dab of tacky glue to give it some body. It has some of my stearic acid fluff in it, so it isn't as dehydrating to play with, and it also makes the slime softer. The crunchy topper is mostly comprised of tiny golden book charms that I printed, with some round glass beads. Surprisingly, I have found that these little beads tend to pop out with more aggressive pulling and play, whereas the mini books stay put.
Both versions come a golden book charm.
All book charms are fully handmade, from design to 3D printing to assembly, by the Head Librarian.
