Vent Style Identification (Important)

Toyota used two different dash and vent configurations. Selection should be based on dash style—not vehicle year alone.

Early Model Vent Style (1984–1986)

• Used with the long pocket dash

• Pocket runs from the center vent to the passenger vent

• Select 1984–1986 if your dash has the long pocket, regardless of vehicle year

Late Model Vent Style (1987–1989)

• Used with the short pocket dash

• Pocket is located only above the two center vents

• Select 1987–1989 if your dash has the short pocket, regardless of vehicle year

Installation Notes

• Aftermarket dash caps must be removed for proper installation
