Antique 20s Bag French Steel Mesh Evening Purse

Great party bag with an art deco design at front and back in muted, gold, silver, and cream steel cut beads. The soft, sack like body opens on a hinged frame in silvertone metal with a leaf pattern stamp. Closes with a silver knob at the top, it is held with a silver chain for the hand strap. Interior is yellow cloth and features a small, slit pocket.

Condition: very good with no visible issues other than I imagine that the bottom once had a row of fringed beads that are no longer there. The rest is in surprisingly good condition with the beaded body showing no flaws, the metal frame is clear and bright, and the interior makes me think it was never used!
