PRO TIP: These batons are a beast! It's crazy how tight they lock (a good thing when using). Give it a few taps on an angle first to loosen the sections, then get down on 1 knee and hammerfist the sh** outta that thing (use concrete). Don't be shy, the harder you swing the easier it closes. Make sure you go straight down so you don't bust your knuckles or scrape up the tip. You're fighting against a 30 lb spring, so follow through all the way to the ground. After you do it a few times and get used to the technique it's quite easy, but everyone struggles the first time they try closing.
