Will this work with my factory hood latch?
No. The GT500 V2 profile is not compatible with OEM latches. You'll need to run hood pins instead, which bolt to the underside of the hood and corresponding brackets on the fender.
How do I prep this for paint?
Sand the primer surface with medium-grit sandpaper to scuff the gelcoat, then wipe clean. Apply your choice of primer and topcoat directly. FRP accepts standard automotive finishes without issue.
