1960's gold jacquard evening gown. Low scoop neck, set in waist, column skirt with a side metal zipper closing and a long closed back pleat. Sleeveless vest style jacket with a cuff collar that closes in the front with a large covered button. Waist is very high so it could have been styled as an empire waist. Both pieces are completely lined.

There are some condition issues. A large spot of soiling on the hem which I have photographed closely. The fabric has some fabric scratches on the bodice and a few places on the skirt.

Label is Starke of London which is the designer and Madame Runge which was an upscale retail shop on South Granville Street in Vancouver, from the late thirties until the seventies.

Please check the measurements carefully. Keep in mind there is no give to this fabric.
