The Balloon Skirt is a midi-length skirt featuring a flared silhouette, a straight waistband, a concealed zip closure at the back, and side seam pockets. Designed for versatility, this skirt offers two style options: with or without the distinctive balloon effect.

Suggested Fabrics: 

Light to medium-weight fabrics are ideal. The balloon option works best in a fabric with some structure to hold the balloon shape, while the skirt without the balloon looks beautiful in a fabric with drape. The balloon skirt in the images is made of black silk, while the non-balloon skirt is sewn in a medium-weight wool blend.

Fabric Requirements:

For option 1 you can choose to sew the lining skirt using lining fabric if you prefer: XS-S 1.0 m, M-L 1.2 m, XL 1.4 m, 2XL-3XL 1.6 m on 140 cm fabric width. Please note! You cannot reduce the main fabric with the same amount.

You will also need:

• Concealed zipper 25 cm
• Fusible interfacing
• Matching sewing thread
• Button 1 pc. 15-17 mm diameter
