Vintage 1940’s stunning rayon jersey dress by ‘ Wolsey’ in the most delightful soft corn colourway with print in black. This dress has a lovely construction and features a beautiful 1940’s silhouette. It has a pointed neckline which can sit differently due to the construction with button fastening, it has 3/4 length sleeves, shoulder pads to accentuate the line. It features an almost off centre pleated draping to the front which hangs beautifully and adds to the movement in the skirt. The dress is made from a divine weight rayon jersey which drapes beautifully. Made in a soft corn colourway this dress is very understated and looks fabulous worn with black, brown and varying shades of yellows and creams for a subtle look or equally as lovely with another contrasting colour like purple. The print features florals and foliage and is very delicate looking. 

A lovely treat to yourself, friend or loved one. A must have piece for any 1940’s loving lady !

Good Vintage Condition, flaws to note - A cluster of small holes to the back 3/4 way down spanning around 2cm could be backed or darned if desired. Overall fade. A couple of small nibbles. This piece still presents beautifully and is fully wearable as is. Would advise to wear with a slip.
