Do I need clear coat on carbon fiber, or will it yellow over time?

Carbon fiber can absorb UV rays without protective clear coat. A quality UV-protective clear coat applied after install will preserve the weave color and gloss for years. Without it, expect gradual haze over time, especially in high-sun climates.

How do I seal the edges so moisture and debris don't get trapped?

After install, apply automotive-grade epoxy or sealant along the bottom edges where the carbon meets the rocker line. This prevents water intrusion and keeps dirt from settling in the weave. Sand and prep the edge surface first for best adhesion.

Will these fit my model, or do I need modifications?

These are engineered for Z06, ZR1, and GS models and mount to existing factory hole locations on those variants. If your model is different, verify your rocker panel geometry and drilling points against the OEM design before proceeding—fitment outside the intended models may require panel modification.
